Does pasting document into a new file work?
Action:
Copy the document to a new file:
1) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Select All...'. (The document is highlighted.)
2) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Copy'. (The file is copied into the Clipboard.)
3) Do one of the following:
a) Open a new document in Word:
1] Select the 'File' menu in Word and select 'New'.
2] Select the 'New Document' icon to create a new file.
3] Select the 'File' menu and select 'Paste'.
b) Open WordPad or Notepad, and paste the document.
